Event: Manchester City - Reading
Pick: City -2.5AH
Odds: 2.02 @ 188bet
Stake: 5/10
Analysis: The line was covered in both of the last two Reading games against
Sunderland and Arsenal. I really don't see a reason why the terrible run
shouldn't continue here, especially considering the opponent. The
terrible Reading defense could easilly concede a couple, while it will
be pretty hard for them to score against City.
Event: Southampton - Sunderland
Pick: Saints -0.75AH
Odds: 2.33 @ Pinnacle
Stake: 7/10
Analysis: The Saints found their shape and are on a decent run recently,
especially at home. They are unbeaten for 4 games, two of which are
victories, On the other hand, Sunderland are not very good since the
start of the season and are not doing well away from home. The only
important miss is Lallana, but I feel the hosts could win this one with more than a goal.

Another Premier league tip
Hello guys,
Yesterday was a great day for me - my only pre match bet on Dortmund - Hannover was easily won and I also made some good money on live betting. Today I've prepared another Premier League bet for this weekend, so here we go:
Event: Swansea - Manchester United
Pick: Over 3 goals
Odds: 1.98 @ Pinnacle
Stake: 8/10
Analysis: Well, my initial thoughts about this game were that Man Utd will win convinsingly, cause they have basically full squad, they had a good amount of time to rest and they should be at full strenght against a very inconsistent Swansea side. However, the defense of the visitors still remains a big question mark and if the likes of Reading can score three against them, I feel it will be pretty tough to keep a clean sheet against Swansea. This is why I am going for the over 3 line here - the odds are good and it offers insurance too.

DFB Pokal pick for today
Hi guys,
There is Capital One Cup game today between Leeds and Chelsea and although I think there is a good chance of a surprise, I probably will be betting live on this one. Instead, I think I found some good value in the DFB Pokal match between Dortmund and Hannover:
Pick 85
Event: Dortmund - Hannover
Pick: Over 3 goals
Odds: 1.65 @ 188bet
Stake: 8/10
Analysis: I do not bet too often on German games, but I will make an exception for this one. Dortmund are way too far behind Bayern in the League and the CL is rather unrealistic target, so basically the Cup is their best chance of winning a trophy this season. This makes me think they will play their best team in the last game of the year and will score quite a few goals against a Hannover team with a very suspect defense. The visitors on the other side are also capable of scoring and don't forget this is a cup tie - it doesn't manage with what goal difference you go out, so there could be a lot of space towards the end of the game. I think Dortmund will win it comfortably, but the odds for over 3 are good and offer decent insurance, so I am on it.

As I told you last week, I had some problem with my tooth and at the it turned I needed a minor operation to fix it, so I was away for some time. However, I am back and I can see two good early picks for this weekend:

Event: West Brom - Norwich
Pick: Under 2.5 goals
Odds: 2.05 @ 188bet

Analysis: Well, West Brom are very solid at home, especially defensively and they manage to keep clean sheets quite often. On the other hand, Norwich are in a very good shape recently and one of the main reasons for that is their discipline and hard work. That makes me think it will be a close game and possibly there won't be too many goals in it.

Pick: Villa +1.5 AH

On the other hand, Chelsea with Benitez is not too convincing and there will be possibly some tired legs after the World Cup they played recently. That makes me think Villa could take something from this game or at least lose with just a single goal, which suits us with this line.

I am sorry I didn't write in the past few days, but I had a problem with one of my teeth and I had to deal with it. However, I am back now and it is time for a Capital One Cup pick:
Pick 82
Event: Bradford-Arsenal
Pick: Arsenal -1.5 AH
Odds: 2.12 @ Pinnacle
Stake: 6/10
Analysis: Arsenal's best chance of trophy this year is exactly the Capital One Cup, since the team already reached the quarter finals and the only team of their calibre left is Chelsea. Arsene Wenger will used a mixed squad once again, but there will be some decent quality in the starting eleven. I expect the likes of Arshavin, Jenkinson and Santos to play as also some other first team players. Despite the fact Bradford had conceded only six in their League 2 games, the difference in class is huge and also if they are down by 1, they would probably open up and try to draw and the fast, hungry Arsenal youngsters can hit them on the counter.

Hi guys,
My pick on Europa League yesterday brought a tiny loss with Stuttgart somehow managing to lose at home against Molde, but at least the over at Tottenham - Panathinaikos won. This means the week so far is ok, but nothing special, but now it is time for some bets for the forthcoming Premier League matches:
Pick 80
Event: Southampton - Reading

Analysis: The derby between the new boys will take place this Saturday and both teams are currently in the relegation zone. The reason for that is pretty simple - both teams are doing more than ok when it comes to attacking, but are terrible at the back and tend to self destruct on a regular basis. The need for points should mean both teams are determined to go for it the way they can - attacking and trying to score as many as possible. That is why I believe the odds for over 2.5 contain decent value and I am putting max stake.

I think the visitors have very good chances of taking something from this game and the odds of 2.15 are too good to miss, imo.

Europa League picks for Thursday
Hi guys,
Yesterday was a rather good day with one bet won and one pushed. Man Utd missed some chances against Cluj, but at the end of the day the half time finished 0:0 which meant my be on under 1.25 is fully won. In Scotland Spartak Moscow didn't manage to hold Celtic, but still lost with just a single goal, which returned my money, so there was a profit for the day. Today we have Europa League and although most groups are now clear, at least in terms of going through, I think we could find some value:

The only concern is that Stuttgart actually drew their first two home games, but still the other teams were much better. I think the hosts have enough firepower to win convincingly and go through and the odds seem good enough to take a shot.

This makes me think we could see a true goal fest here and the odds for over 3 seem too good to resist.

Wednesday Champions League picks

I was trying to find another pick for Tuesday and had some ideas yesterday, but at the end I decided I'll skip them and stick with my only pick for Olympiacos. Despite a tough start the Greeks managed to win against Arsenal which meant my bet on them +0.25AH was fully won. Today there are more Champions League games and I think there are some value bets out there:

Pick: Under 1.25 goals in the first half
Odds: 1.78 @ Ladbrokes
Stake: 5/10
Analysis: Well, Man Utd already won this group and if you add to this the derby against Man City on Sunday there is no doubt they will field a very weakened side with a lot of youngsters and second string players. However, Alex Ferguson insisted that his main concern is the defense and he will demand a better defending from his side in this game. Add to the fact the hosts will miss their most dangerous players and it looks like the under is quite possible, but since Cluj might be desperate towards the ends of this match, I think the line of 1.25 for the first half is the safest option.

Also, if Barcelona is winning against Benfica a draw will be enough for the hosts to qualify. This is why I think the Russians can take something from this game, but still I am taking a safe option which returns my money if they lose by a single goal.
These are my bets for today, I was thinking about the draw in Ukraine, where Skakhtar and Juve can dump Chelsea, but my gut feeling is that the hosts don't really need the draw, which makes the game more unpredictable than it seems. I think I might try some live betting there.

Champions league picks and final Premier league prediction
Hi guys,
It wasn't the best weekend, cause Man City didn't do enough to win against Everton despite some late chances, but Southampton lost with just a single goal against Liverpool, so this meant a half win there returned some cash. As you have probably have seen in my last post, I was a little bit ahead from live betting too, so basically it was a break even weekend. It is now time to take a look at the last game in the Premier League and also the last group matches in the Champions League:

Event: Newcastle - Wigan Athletic
Pick: Draw
Odds: 3.53 @ Pinnacle
Stake: 3/10
Analysis: Newcastle are having a number of problems lately, mostly because of the huge amount of injuries in a very bad time of the season. They have lost four games in a row and they are now just 2 points above the relegation zone, so they desperately need points. However, they still will miss a number of players and Wigan are in a rather decent shape recently. This makes me think the draw here is very possible options. The hosts will really want to win this game and I expect them to be fully motivated, but with some key defenders and midfielders out, Wigan should be able to take a point here. Small stakes, since draws are very risky as always.

Hi guys,
I will try something new this weekend and I might make it tradition in the future, if you are interested. Since as every Saturday I am watching the games and I am taking some live bets as well, I decided it would be interesting to keep something like a live feed. I will update this post with my live picks and I will use Pinnacle and 188bet. I hope there are some interesting stuff and we win some cash. I won't keep them in the stats, since it is hard to prove everything and I don't want to put even the slightest doubt in the fairness of the site statistics.
