West Ham - Stoke and Sunday recap

Hi guys,
Yesterday wasn't the best day in terms of betting with one bet won and one lost, but the end result is a very tiny profit, so it was not that bad. The under at Fulham - Sunderland was looking good up to the beginning of the second half, when there were 3 goals scored in fifteen minutes and the the visitors added another one for a full loss. However, my expectations for a very slim winning margin in F1 were right and the end result for the day was positive.
Today is the last game in the Premier League and I think there is a bet I am willing to take:

Pick 57
Event: West Ham - Stoke
Pick: West Ham -0.5 AH
Odds: 2.08 @ Bet365
Stake: 6/10
Analysis: This is a clash between two very similar sides - strong at home and rather weak away, depending on long balls and embracing the physical aspect of the game. However, since the start of the season the Hammers are doing much better and they are lying 7th in the table, while Stoke seem to draw too many games which leaves them very close to the bottom. Besides the home advantage and the better shape since the start of the season, another important reason for this bet are the team news. The hosts will only miss the long term injured Vaz Te, while Stoke have a number of injured players, especially in midfield. Whitehead, Pennant and Delap continue to be sidelined, while Walters, Adam and Whelan are with minor injuries. They should be able to play though, but the lack of options and the fact the existing ones are not fully fit may cost the away side here. I like the odds for a home win and I think the Hammers will be able to win this game, not too convincingly though.

I am sure Pulis is worried about the injury list for this game.

So, this is it for today, guys, good luck everyone and expect some Champions League bets in the forthcoming days :)
