English Premier League picks - 01.12

Hi guys,
Once again my rather bad streak recently continued on Wednesday. Everyone expected West Brom to fail at some point, but the way they were beaten against Swansea was kinda surprising. Also, I obviously underestimated Benitez as he managed to transform Chelsea for a very short time and now they seem very dull, but steady at the back. Still, the Saints and Norwich drew their game, which returned some money back. Bad day in general, but now the weekend is coming and there is a good chance to win some cash. Here are my tips for the forthcoming Premier League games:

Pick 72
Event: Liverpool - Southampton
Pick: Southampton +1.25 AH
Odds: 1.98 @ 188bet
Stake: 6/10
Analysis: Despite the fact there is some progress in Liverpool, the Reds still have lots of problems and generally are not playing too well. They've managed to win by more than one goal just twice since the start of the season and they have a number of draws and narrows wins at home for a third consecutive season. On the other hand, the visitors are in a good shape currently and haven't lost 4 games in a roll in the league. I think they might get a point here, but even if they don't I feel they won't get beaten too convincingly and this line could return half win.

Pick 73
Event: Manchester City - Everton
Pick: Manchester City -1AH
Odds: 1.91 @ 188bet
Stake: 8/10
Analysis: I think the key for this bet is squad depth. This is a third game for both teams inside a week, so there will be some tired legs and the team with more freshness will have a big advantage. I don't think there is any doubt who that is and the strong home form and much longer bench City are the clear favorite here. As for Everton - they look very tired in the last 20 minutes against Arsenal on Wednesday and for this game they surely miss skipper Neville, while the likes of Baynes, Miralas and Coleman are carrying a knocks and are not 100% sure for the game. This makes me think the value is on City, especially considering the fact they started keeping clean sheets recently and their defense starts to look as solid as last year.

This is it for now, but I might add another bet for Saturday later today or tomorrow and I will probably have some Sunday picks too, so stay tuned. Good luck!

English Premier League picks

Hi guys,
Unfortunately, my hot streak of wins ended last night in Europa League, when two of my bets were lost and just one won. My main bet was on Academica and Pilzen to score over 2.5 goals, but both teams managed to score just two both from penalties, while the huge surprise was the goalless draw between Hannover and Twente. That was pretty sick especially considering the fact there were like 4 goals on average in all games of the Germans so far, but this is football. The only good news was the under at the Newcastle - Maritimo game which brought some money back, but overall last night sucked.
No time for regrets though as the weekend is coming and there are some decent bets for the Premier League. I already have few suggestions, here they are:

Pick 65
Event: Everton - Norwich
Pick: Norwich +1 AH
Odds: 2.11 @ 188bet
Stake: 10/10
Analysis: This line would've won or pushed in any of the last 6 Everton games, as the team drew four of them, won one with one goal difference and then lost against Reading. This indicates that the great shape of the hosts from the start of the season is starting to fade. Norwich on the other hand is unbeaten in five games in a row, including wins against Manchester United and Arsenal. This wouldn't have been enough for me to bet in normal circumstances, but when you look at the team news you will see Everton will miss Fellainy, Neville and Mirallas and all three are very important for the hosts. As crazy as it may sound I believe Norwich could actually win this game, but I will go for the safe option and go for the Asian Handicap.

Everton's best player Fellainy is out of this match.

Pick 66
Event: Wigan - Reading
Pick: Reading +0.5 AH
Odds: 2.06 @ Pinnacle
Stake: 7/10
Analysis: A derby game between two teams who are just above the relegation zone. Both started the season poorly, but are showing some signs of improvements lately. Reading are the kings of draws as they managed four in six of their last games, but last week they finally managed to win against the strong Everton team. Wigan on the other hand are very inconsistent and are capable of big surprises both in a negative and positive sense. I would say the hosts are a slight favorite to win this match, but the value is on Reading to take something here.

This is it for now, I believe I could place another bet on the Saturday's matches and there surely will be something for Sunday and the F1 finale, so stay tuned. Good luck everyone :)

English Premier league picks for the weekend

Hello guys,
With the international friendlies gone it is time to concentrate on this weekend's Premier League matches. After last week wasn't too good for me, it is time to compensate and make some money. So here are the first bets:

Pick 51
Event: Arsenal - Tottenham
Pick: Theo Walcott to score anytime
Odds: 3.40 @ Skybet
Stake: 3/10
Analysis: Well,  the North London derby is coming and as Arsenal supporter I sincerely hope to see the Gunners win. It won't be easy though and one of the players that could be instrumental in this game is Theo. He is in great shape, scored and assisted a bunch of goals since the start of the season even without playing as a starter regularly. Last time around he scored two goals against Tottenham and with the first choice left back Assou-Ekotto out of this game, I think the odds for Walcott to score are very good. I will take the 3.40 gladly with a small bet.

I hope to see Theo scoring and the Emirates rocking again.

Pick 52
Event: Reading - Everton
Pick: Over 3 goals
Odds: 2.27 @ Pinnacle
Stake: 8/10
Analysis: After thinking about Everton recently, I reached an interesting conclusion. It seems to me the teams are now fearing them because of the great shape since the start of the season and they go out parking the bus at Goodison. This leads to less chances and less goals for the Toffees compared to their games away, where teams feel obliged to play more open in front of their home crowd. This makes me think the high flying Everton side will be manage to create a lot of chances against the shaky Reading defense. On the other side, Reading recently showed they can score goals too and despite the 0:0 draw against Norwich last week, I feel this game will offer a lot of goals.

This is it for today, but I am having some more ideas, so expect more picks tomorrow, good luck everyone :)

Profitable Thursday and Premier League picks

Hi guys,

Yesterday was another good day, that brought me some profit. The late pick on Anzhi was won, although not too convincingly, while Lazio did the job against Panathinaikos. Elsewhere Atletico Madrid didn't manage to score, but still two bets won, one lost and some more cash in the bank. For today I have a pick on Middlesbrough, that I published and with the weekend knocking at the door, it is time to concentrate one the Premier League:

Pick 45
Event: Arsenal - Fulham
Pick: Under 3 goals
Odds: 1.93 @ Pinnacle
Stake: 8/10
Analysis: The bookies continue giving good odds for unders on Arsenal home games and I continue to struggle understanding the reason for this. Arsenal's main problem currently is the lack of ideas and fresh legs upfront and with the list with injured and suspended players they have, I don't think it will get any better. On the other hand, their defense may seem suspect on some occasions, but in the Premier League they have conceded just 9 goals, most of them against quality teams. In their home games against mid or low table opponents, they look good. I expect the same against Fulham - the visitors won't park the bus, but still they will try to defend mostly, so I can't see them putting too much pressure on the gunners. On the other side of the pitch I expect the hosts to struggle to create many chances, so my general opinion is it will be a tight game. The under 3 line offers some insurance and the odds seem very good to me, so I will give it a shot.

Santi is one of the many Arsenal players that look tired.

Pick 46
Event: Everton - Sunderland
Pick: Everton -1 EH
Odds: 2.50 @ Ladbrokes
Stake: 6/10
Analysis: Everton are probably playing the most exciting football in the Premier League. They are extremely dangerous upfront and are creating a lot of chances. Against Fulham last week they probably had like 10 clear cut chances and only the lack of luck and a number of misses prevented them from winning the game. At home against a poor Sunderland team I am more than confident they will again create a lot of opportunities, let's hope they don't miss so much this time.

This is it for now, tomorrow I will probably post some more pick, good luck to everyone :)

Premier League tips for 3-4th November

Hi guys,

After writing the first pick for the EPL weekend yesterday it is now time for a larger portion of bets :) Last weekend was phenomenal as I managed to hit 6/7 wins for a great profit and I really hope this one is good too. Here are my first few selections (the others will be posted tomorrow or on Sunday):

Pick 27
Event: Fulhan - Everton
Pick: Over 3 goals
Odds: 2.43 @ Pinnacle
Stake: 10/10
Analysis: This one has both to score and overs written all over it - with Berbatov Fulham are scoring for fun, especially at home and most of their games since the start of the season are with both teams scoring. Same applies to Everton who managed to score in every single game from the start of the campaign except for the visit of West Brom, who were playing very well in defense in the first few games. With Pienaar back it looks like both teams have their best attacking players available and this should be a goal thriller. I was thinking about getting over 3.5, but this is the safer option and the odds are still great.

Pienaar is back to restore his partnership with Baynes.

Pick 28
Event: West Ham - Man City
Pick: Both teams to score
Odds: 1.67 @ Bet365
Stake: 10/10
Analysis: Man City continue to concede goals, especially away from home and the champions still can't keep a clean sheet in their away games. I don't see them doing so against a very solid West Ham side, which is playing very well at Upton Park. Carrol was a great fit and is capable of producing chances for the midfield, which leads to a lot of goals, especially from the likes of Nolan. As for City's ability to score, I don't think anybody doubts that, so the odds for both to score seem pretty generous to me and I am going for it with full stake.

This is it for today, you can expect more from me in the following days, best of luck :)

Good Saturday and picks for Sunday

Hello guys,

The weekend started very well and I managed to land three out of four picks yesterday for a solid profit. As I expected the Arsenal - QPR game was very tight and the visitors tried a very negative tactics. They weren't many chances until late in the game and the home win with 1:0 was great for me both as a punter and an Arsenal supporter :) Elsewhere Reading and Fulham both score, actually three times each and Wigan and West Ham left it late, but still managed to cover the over 2.5 line. For today I have Bale to score (published in the blog on Friday), but I think there is value in two more picks:

Pick 16
Event: Newcastle - West Brom
Pick: Newcastle to win
Odds: 2.00 @ Will Hill
Stake: 10/10
Analysis: Newcastle are improving their shape recently and have 3 wins from 3 games in Europe and also played very well in the derby against Sunderland last week. They will only miss the suspended Tiote, while West Brom are missing skipper Brunt and Reid. West Brom are unconvincing away from home with three draws and a heavy loss against Fulham, so I believe the host will be able to win here.

Tiote is out after a reckless tackle against Sunderland.

Pick 17
Event: Everton - Liverpool
Pick: Both teams to score
Odds: 1.73 @ Bet365
Stake: 10/10
Analysis: I expect a fierce derby of Merseyside and I wouldn't try to predict the outcome. Everton will miss Felainni and Pienaar, but still have a lot of fire power upfront and Liverpool are more stable recently. Skipper Gerrard normally plays his best games against Everton and ManU, and I expect the same today. I believe both teams will search for the victory and will manage to score goals.
